  5. CrunchBase API

As you can see from the graph provided Crunchbase is having a little trouble taking off after relaunching itself about 5 months ago. What to do, what to do oh I know lets offer an API. This could help bump its traffic considerably. Great move by Techcunch on this one. I'm just wondering if this will pressure LinkedIn to release an API down the road.

  6. Come2Play

Come2Play's new, first of its kind, open source application program interface allows developers to create, enrich, distribute and monetize multiplayer network games, without requiring them to apply any complicated programming techniques. Come2Play

  11. Hawaii

Landed in Hawaii yesterday July 1st and it was a total let down. The weather was in the high 80's and the humidity was high, plus the sky was blocked by dark clouds all day, my little girls were tired and hungry. When we got to the car rental, where we had already made reservations, they only had mini vans and we were kept waiting for about 45 minutes to get a car seat. Then when we got to our lodging we ended up with a fish smelling, mildew looking room, with a loud ass a/c unit. To top it all off when I asked to be moved to another room I was turned away with I'm sorry we are all booked til September I looked around the other NEW rooms and you guessed it, EMPTY. By this time it was about 6:30 (Hawaii Time) in the evening and we were all suffering from lack of sleep seeing that we had woken up at 4:30am Pacific Standard Time just to make sure we made through the Airport traffic. We cut are losses and went to bed.

  12. Plankton Invasion

The zoo-plankton, the smallest form of aquatic life, have gathered, grouped and organized themselves in a military way in order to invade, conquer and rule the world just like their forefathers did during their Primal Soup heighdays, about 3 million years ago.Being aquatic they do have one major problem …dry land and lots of it. They know all too well that this problem has to be dealt with or there will be no invasion. Their leader, Commander Medusa comes up with a strategy, a 4 steps action plan which will lead them to their ultimate goal. He gives his sinister master plan the ominous name: Operation Invasion, codename Global Warming. He will turn this clod of earth into a watery planet. Plankton Invasion

  13. WEbook

WEbook is a revolutionary online book publishing company, which does for the industry what American Idol did for music. (Modestly speaking, of course.) Welcome to the home of groundbreaking User-Generated Books. WEbook is the vision of a few occasionally erudite people who believe there are millions of talented writers whose work is ignored by the staid and exclusive world of book publishing. It just makes logical sense that if you create a dynamic, irreverent, and open place for writers and people who like reading to meet, write, react, and think together, the results are bound to be extraordinary. Cue WEbook.com, an online publishing platform that allows writers, editors, reviewers, illustrators and others to join forces to create great works of fiction and non-fiction, thrillers and essays, short stories, children's books and more. 14. Day 7

What took us only 5 days to cross three and half years earlier in the Winter took us 7 in the Summer? A trip of a lifetime, at least for my two little girls that is, we ended up ditching the tow hitch in Barstow and drove separate cars the rest of the way. A wonderful day to finish off the trip as well seeing that we started out at 6 o'clock in the morning and ended at noon.

  15. Day 6 part 2

It was as if it was meant to happen, with our day shorten and all. It just so happens that the Jimmy was on it last legs and even though I had it looked at before we left, It was not enough. The only thing I see why it didn't make the trip (east to west) like it did the first time when we moved to J-ville, NC (west to east) is that the first time was done in the Winter while this time we traveled in the Summer.

  16. Day 6

It just wasn't meant to be ladies and gentlemen. Day 6 ends early for us. The truck blew a gasket, overheated and took a big brownie on the side of the road today.
